The Systems Senior Officer - ERP Analyst is responsible for supporting the ERP functions from a techno-functional domain perspective. This resource would be responsible for the Oracle ERP functional support provided to the Finance business area, including analyzing support tickets, documenting new requirements, controlling system configuration, testing and deploying change requests.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Activities
1. Provide functional and development support to business for routine activities as well as issues that happen in production.
2. Act as a single point of contact for all ERP Finance functional queries from senior/middle management and provide immediate clarifications/solutions on the system
3. Gather, analyse requirements, perform impact analysis for business requirements and propose recommendation
4. Plan testing and ensure full coverage, quality for every software release
5. Manage critical incidents related to annual/monthly financial accounts closing/financial reconciliations, analyse issues and offer workarounds in a timely manner
6. Maintain a configuration baseline environment which can be used to validate production issues
7. Manage multiple ERP environments for Production, UAT, Development etc
8. Ensure adequate health checks are setup to measure system stability
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
• University Graduate/Post graduate specializing in Finance and Accounting.
Experience
• 7 years experience in similar role.
• Oracle ERP and Hyperion financial systems development and support.
• Expertise in Oracle financial suite and Hyperion.
• Working with Quality Structures such as SEI CMM, ITPM, Tik, 6 Sigma
• Airline experience preferred
• Experience in revenue accounting preferred.
Knowledge / Skills
• Oracle eBusiness Suite, Hyperion.
• Oracle database, focusing on ERP domain.
• Oracle ERP financial modules support that include (AP, AR, GL,FA,CM and Treasury).
Certificate / License required
• OCP, OCA certifications are preferred.
• CA, CPA, CMA, ICWA certifications preferred.
